The long-awaited sword-course of 2021 has arrived!
In this 6 day long (26 hrs) advanced bladesmithing course you will make your own bespoke European Longsword, Medieval Crusaders have prized above all other possessions! Be prepared for hard work!! It will not be child's play, but the results will be magnificent!
Students will hand-forge their own 5160 spring steel blade, pommel and guard with hands on step by step instruction. This course will also teach advanced grinding techniques, including the grinding of a fuller.
All tools, materials and hands on instruction to complete your blade and hardware will be provided.
Course Schedule : 2 weekends with 11 days in between..

If you never forged before, start with our Introduction to Blacksmithing Workshop now (and follow with introduction to knife making before you attempt this course! It's for the seasoned smithies, but you can attempt it if you start now and practice forging between workshops (During Open Forge sessions)!
