Let's set things right about rings and stones! .. Spend your afternoon with Lisa Johnson and explore how to fabricate a sterling silver ring and set a cabochon. Demonstrations will include basic soldering techniques, sizing a ring, and adding a bezel setting. Everyone will understand the basic fundamentals of fabricating jewelry and leave with a completed piece!

Students will be able to apply basic jewelry making techniques that include soldering using acetylene gas, silver solder, and paste flux with sterling silver as well as bezel setting. Other expected jewelry making techniques used during the workshop includes filing/sanding, using a bezel rocker and burnishing tool.
No prior experience is necessary! All skill levels are welcome. All tools and materials will be provided!
