
Looking for a hands-on Introduction to Welding experience for your homeschool student? This program offers homeschool families the chance to explore Welding fundamentals, delve into metal fabrication concepts, and create exciting projects.
During this semester, students will learn about shop safety, basic metallurgy and the safe use of shop equipment. Each student will gain practical experience in welding and metal fabrication using angle grinders, oxy-acetylane torches, plasma cutters, belt grinders and other essential and innovative shop equipment.
As part of a month-to-month series, this program provides fresh learning opportunities with every session.If interested furthering your child's technical education please consider registering for upcoming semesters in machining, blacksmithing, woodworking etc...
Course Schedule:
September 1, Monday 10 AM to 1PM
September 8, Monday 10 AM to 1PM
September 15, Monday 10 AM to 1PM
September 22, Monday 10 AM to 1PM

Cost: $475/student
Additional time for fit and finish of projects might be added during open studio hours (Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-9PM) at no additional cost to participants.
No prior experience is necessary!
Our workshops and day-camp groups have always been intentionally small! Our new policy reduced the number of participants even lower, which allows for more space and even more personal attention to each student! Please note, we work with open flames and power tools during this camp.
Non-flammable clothing (No nylon or Polyester!) and closed toed shoes are an essential requirement!
