During this introductory level workshop students will learn the basics of wood turning and the safe operation of a wood-turning lathe while making a bespoke wooden pen . After a safety briefing, students will be learning one by one, to drill, cut and shape their pieces on the lathe. This workshop will give you an excellent fundation to confidently operate a lathe and to take more advanced classes in the future if you desire to do so. Please wear short sleeves or tight long sleeves! All tools, materials and safety gear will be provided. No experience is necessary
