The Integrated US and World History program provides middle school students with a panoramic, AP-aligned foundation in global and American history. Designed for grades 6 to 8, this year-long course introduces students to major civilizations, cultural developments, and historical turning points while helping them understand how United States history fits into the broader global narrative.
This dual-track architecture blends chronological world history with parallel units in American history. Students learn to identify patterns across time, compare developments between regions, and build the analytical skills that prepare them for advanced high school coursework, including AP World History: Modern and AP US History.
The program emphasizes historical thinking, source analysis, geography, and cultural literacy. Students engage with maps, primary sources, timelines, and hands-on activities that make history meaningful and memorable.
