Ready for a riveting experience? This workshop will investigate the use of cold connections in jewelry to add to the aesthetic quality of our pieces, set stones, and make connections. Instructor, Lisa Johnson will be demonstrating how to make tube, button, and spacer rivets for your pendant. Surface treatments will also be covered such as polishing and patinas for sterling silver, copper, and brass.
All student materials are included : Sterling silver and copper tubing, copper sheet and sterling sheet.
Students will demonstrate how to use rivets as a connection and element of design. They will understand how to pierce, drill, and rivet to successfully complete a piece of jewelry.
