During this private introduction to blacksmithing workshop, students will learn about shop safety, basic metallurgy, history of the craft and the additional science behind blacksmithing.
We will teach proper hammer technique, and stance. The step by step instruction will allow students to create a practical project that incorporates several forging techniques which will translate into both architectural, sculptural,and jewelry scale forging, as well as into bladesmithing !
$350/person

The session is 3-4 hours long and the cost is $350/person.

This session will also allow the instructor to assess the students aptitude and physical abilities to determine what direction to move forward in upcoming sessions.
