Private Science & Metallurgy Workshop
Step into the forge for a hands-on, three-hour exploration of steel under extreme conditions. In this private session, the participant will conduct a guided science experiment comparing the qualities of different steel compositions when exposed to varying levels of heat and pressure. Using localized heat sources and a hydraulic forging press, we’ll observe, record, and discuss how temperature and force transform the metal’s structure and properties.
A parent and/or sibling may attend as an observer and assist with documentation of the experiment.
