This immersive weekend workshop will open the gate to the magic of soap making and teach you how to be a confident soap maker on your own. Yes! You can do this! Our two day workshop provides an in-depth overview of cold-process soap making and is geared towards beginner and intermediate soap-makers.
On day one: Students will learn about lab safety, basic soap chemistry and make their first batch, learning the essential steps. While our first batch is curing , We will learn about additives and formulating recipes and a bit of chemistry that makes it all possible. Each student will start formulating their own recipe for our second batch...
On day two : After unmolding our first batch we will review each newly created recipe and discuss our soap qualities. Students will have the opportunity to complete their second batch of soap based on their very own recipe and using the skills they have learned so far.
Hands on, step by step instruction, all supplies, materials and safety gear will be provided. No experience is necessary!
