Introduction to Welding and Fabrication Five Consecutive Mondays September 21 to October 19, 2026 10 AM to 1 PM Tuition: $499 per student Welding II is designed for students who have completed Welding I and are ready to advance their skills through more complex fabrication challenges. This intermediate program strengthens foundational techniques while introducing design concepts, applied mathematics, and precision layout skills that are essential for higher‑level metalwork. Across five hands‑on workshop sessions, students learn how to plan and execute multi‑component projects that require accuracy, measurement, and thoughtful sequencing. Instruction emphasizes clean fit‑ups, precise cutting, and improved weld quality. 📐 What Students Will Learn Design principles for small‑scale fabrication Applied mathematics for layout and measurement How to calculate angles and lengths for accurate fit‑ups Techniques for creating precise miter cuts Methods for constructing complex shapes, including fitting a welded circle inside a perfect square Improved heat control, cleaner welds, and more refined finishing techniques 🛠️ Projects Students complete several intermediate‑level projects throughout the course. Each project reinforces new skills and encourages creative problem-solving. All completed work goes home with the student at the end of the program. ⭐ Program Highlights Small class sizes for individualized instruction Daily hands‑on welding and fabrication practice Emphasis on accuracy, planning, and craftsmanship Supportive and safety‑focused workshop environment 🔥 Safety Requirements Because we work with open flames and power tools, all students must wear non‑flammable clothing (no nylon or polyester) and closed‑toed shoes.
